Philosophy of Care

Dr. Zeidan believes that the most important ingredient in good endocrine care is the relationship between doctor and patient. Her top priority is collaboration, taking the time to understand each person's life, goals, and challenges before building a care plan together.

"My top priority for success is the collaboration and communication between me and each individual who seeks my help."

Her particular passion is diabetes mellitus. Managing diabetes is complex, and she approaches it by empowering patients with real skills: lifestyle and nutrition guidance, weight management strategies, medication oversight, and the use of modern diabetes technologies like continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps.

Research & Teaching

Dr. Zeidan has contributed to peer-reviewed research on insulin delivery devices and continuous glucose monitoring, helping advance the evidence base for tools her patients use every day. She has served as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she has trained the next generation of physicians in Dayton's family medicine and internal medicine residency programs.

She has also served as President of the Board of Directors for Diabetes Dayton, a local nonprofit dedicated entirely to providing outreach, education, and support for individuals living with diabetes across the Southwest Ohio community.

Areas of Expertise

Dr. Zeidan and the DESSWO team provide specialized care across a full range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.
